Behind the scent

Named for a real botanical mystery. The Musk Monkeyflower was a Victorian sensation prized for its rich musk scent, until it mysteriously lost its fragrance entirely at the turn of the 20th century, in both cultivated and wild plants alike. No one has ever explained why. The scent is Stora Skuggan's guess at reviving that lost smell.
