Maya is the founder and chief scent-curator behind Solvi. When she realized how hard it was to experience niche fragrance in Utah, she created a space for scent lovers to explore unique, handcrafted perfumes from around the world.
Inspired by the way scent ties to memory, Maya’s goal is simple: to help you find a fragrance that feels like you — unexpected, unforgettable, and maybe even part of your happiest moments.
Maya lives in Salt Lake City with her husband, golden retriever, and black cat, who are all excellent scent critics in their own way.

Solvi means to dissolve in Latin. A nod to solvent extraction, which is a technique used in perfumery to capture the purest essence of plants. Just as fragrance is carefully extracted and refined, we curate a collection of rare, small-batch, and one-of-a-kind scents from independent perfumers around the world.
