Maya is the founder and chief scent‑curator behind Solvi. When she realized how hard it was to experience niche fragrance in Utah, she decided to create Solvi, a space for scent lovers to explore unique, handcrafted perfumes from around the world.
Maya lives in Salt Lake City with her fiancé, golden retriever, and black cat, and she’s endlessly inspired by how scent ties to memory. Her goal? To help you find a fragrance that feels like you! Unexpected, unforgettable, and maybe even part of your happiest moments

What does "solvi" mean?
Solvi means to dissolve in latin. A nod to solvent extraction, which is a technique used in perfumery to capture the purest essence of plants. Just as fragrance is carefully extracted and refined, we curate a collection of rare, small-batch, and one-of-a-kind scents from independent perfumers around the world.
What is niche perfume?
Niche fragrance, also known as artisan or indie perfume, refers to scents created on a smaller scale by independent perfumers or specialized fragrance houses. Unlike mass-produced designer perfumes, niche fragrances are crafted with artistic freedom, often using higher-quality ingredients and offering unique compositions. Absolutely. Every in-store visit at Solvi includes the opportunity for a personalized fragrance consultation. We believe finding your scent should feel intimate, unhurried, and special. Our team is here to guide you through our collection and help you discover a fragrance that truly resonates.

Do you offer returns or exchanges?
Once a perfume is opened, it cannot be resold. Therefore, we have a strictly unopened return and exchange policy.
We accept returns within 30 days of purchase if the perfume is unopened and unused.
Opened perfumes cannot be returned - we encourage sampling before committing to a full bottle!

At Solvi, we specialize in eau de parfum and extraits de parfum. Many of the scents we carry are gender neutral, while others lean more traditionally masculine in style. Whether you’re looking for something bold and smoky, fresh and clean, or deep and woody, you’ll find fragrances at Solvi that suit your personal style.
