the bit you might not know
Named for a centuries-old Saharan caravan route, home to the loneliest tree on Earth...a single acacia standing 150km from any other living thing, a landmark for salt-and-gold traders for generations, until a truck driver accidentally killed it in 1973. Saffron, blood orange, and gum acacia are meant to evoke the warmth of gold and the Tuareg riders who once passed it.
