Behind the scent

Created by Francis Kurkdjian, the same perfumer behind Baccarat Rouge 540, one of the best-selling fragrances in the world. The name is Tahitian for "sugar," inspired by the perfumer's time on Taha'a, Polynesia's "Vanilla Island." It's built with almost nothing but pure Tahitian vanilla and has developed a genuinely obsessive following among vanilla lovers, sometimes called "the one" vanilla to end all vanillas.
